Lou-Lou’s bar is the location for a memorial service for Famous. Everyone is down about the aspiring rapper’s mysterious murder, especially his best friend, Kanan.
Kanan is hellbent on avenging his late friend and is surprised to learn that Jukebox wants in on the action. He doesn’t realize that his cousin Laverne is gone, Jukebox has officially taken over after she killed a man two episodes back.

Raq, Marvin, and Lou-Lou are also there to pay their respects. Raq sees her son and warns him not to do anything crazy, but Kanan isn’t trying to hear it, so he gets up and walks away.

The concerned mother asks Jukebox to keep her son out of trouble, not knowing that Jukebox also has revenge on her mind.
Kanan and Jukebox aren’t the only ones wishing to get a lick back. Lou-Lou reveals to Raq that he would go back to his old enforcer ways and kill the person who did Famous so dirty.

He also has a sad reunion with Famous’ sister, Jessica, and we can clearly see he still has strong feelings for her.

Fresh off from turning down his mother’s pleas to end her suffering, Marvin gets another job he doesn’t want, but this one he can’t just turn down.
After killing Terry, David, who is fueled by booger sugar, is now in charge of the Chinese food/drug shipment operation. Raq is not feeling David running things because he is sloppy, and in her anger, she puts Marvin in charge of making sure he doesn’t mess up their operation and gets their drugs moving.

Kanan Is Willing To Pay Top Dollar For Information About Famous’ Murder; Jukebox Has A Lust For Killing
Kanan is BIG MAD about Famous’ death and tells his right hand, O-Cee, and the rest of his crew that he is willing to pay a lot of money for information that leads him to Famous’ killers.
He still has no idea that O-Cee has been compromised and is working for Unique. O-Cee is even watching his boss on the low. He peeps Kanan, walking out of the self-storage business, where he deposits the money he is skimming off the top. He will likely pay them the money for the info on Famous’ killer.
O-Cee does deliver on the information, claiming that word on the street is that Freddy Wilds’ crew killed Famous because he killed Freddy. Kanan doesn’t doubt the information he received and quickly finds Freddy’s old crew. He is about to roll up on them, but he hesitates when he sees one of them armed.
Meanwhile, Jukebox has officially put “Mama I Just wanna Sing Laverne” to rest and is now training like she’s John Wick, shooting glass targets with her dad’s gun.
Marvin does confront his daughter about the missing weapon and tries to reason with her by telling her he doesn’t want this life for her, but he has no idea the little girl he used to know died when she took that man’s life.
Olga Is Not Buying What The NYPD Is Selling About Her Son
The same detective who ignored her cries for help stops by to ask Olga if she has any information about who would have wanted her son dead.
He claims that Famous was working with the NYPD to help solve a case involving a murdered cop. Olga is not buying, and she tells him to get the f*** out of her home because they didn’t take her seriously when she tried to get them to search for him.
Lou-Lou Almost Relapses, Spins The Block Instead

Lou-Lou is still battling his demons, aka alcohol, and Famous’ murder almost causes him to fall off the wagon. Thankfully, Jessica, Famous’ sister, shows up, and he passes on the drink.
The two former lovers touch on how they miss each other before Lou-Lou suggests they leave the bar. They head to the studio, and that’s where things heat up after Jessica suggests he take her to pound town instead of looking to get revenge for the young rapper’s death.
Meanwhile, poor Grandma Joyce is still trying to end her suffering. After she gets shut down by Marvin, she asks if Lou-Lou can handle the job and respectfully tells her, acknowledging he’s mentally weak and wouldn’t be able to handle it.
Lou-Lou’s new fling, Imani, shows up at the studio, but things quickly go left when she finds jewelry left behind by Jessica, confirming that despite what he told her, he’s not over his ex. Understandably, Imani storms out of the studio in disgust.
Lou-Lou’s new outlook on life also affects his relationship with his artist, B-Rilla (Pardison Fontaine). During a studio session, Lou-Lou is clearly over Rilla’s gangsta rap bars and wants him to find a different tone. Rilla is not trying to hear it, and things get tense between the two, hinting that their friction is growing again.
Uncle Lou links up with Jessica again to return her jewelry, and she says she’s going to California and taking her mother, Olga, with her. She wants Lou-Lou to come, but he says nah, and the two share one last embrace.

Unique buys some new jewelry and upgrades his wardrobe, ditching the black varsity bomber, hoodie, and jeans for the drip we have come to appreciate seeing him in earlier seasons before his brother nearly killed him.

Unique is officially back and ready to take on Raq and her crew.
Meanwhile, Kanan heads to Marvin’s home to speak with Jukebox. He asks his cousin if she is serious about getting revenge on Famous, and she says yes. She grabs Marvin’s gun from under the couch cushion.
The two find Freddy’s crew playing basketball and press them for information. Jukebox is more aggressive and clearly enjoying what’s happening, and Kanan notices.
After some begging and pleading for their lives, Kanan accepts they aren’t behind Famous’ death after one of them claims that it was a bunch of dirty cops who killed Kanan’s best friend.
Jukebox isn’t buying it, and it looks like she just wants to shoot someone, but she finally listens to Kanan, and the two leave after getting the information.
The Jukebox we met in the original Power franchise is here to stay.
